For the CNC Mill assignment we were to make a widget on Inventor and upload the file to fusion 360. From there, set up the widget for printing by aligning all necessary axies. Once the widget successfully went through a simulation, it was ready to go through the CNC Mill. This page is a more in depth description of the project from start to finish.
I learned a ton from the CNC Mill roatation. In this rotation I was introduced to a new software: Fusion 360 and a new machine: the CNC Mill. The Fusion 360 software can do everything Inventor can do and more, because the software was so new and much more complex I had to make sure I payed attention during class to set up my Widget for milling correctly. Working the CNC Mill is very simple to use once you know how to use the machine. Overall I really learned a lot from this rotation.
